The purpose of One Hundred Years of English illustration: What paint their stories? is to present an overview of the English children in the illustration last 100 years through the sample of one hundred fifty English storybook illustrations, with which it seeks to highlight, from a thematic and chronological evolution of an art form whose importance has not always been properly recognized. This activity is performed by the Cervantes Virtual Center.
